Software Engineer (m/f/d) Python

Your mission

You will be part of a new cross-functional team that builds a platform to bring students and companies together through a fully digitalized process.

Being a software engineer at jobvalley is not only about writing good code. In your team you can contribute with your skills and ideas. This starts with the conception and exploration of central topics and leads to their architectural and technical implementation. As a backend engineer in our new team you will design and develop applications and microservices (using Python or other technologies) and participate in the discovery phase to find out what our users need.

The work of our seven teams always focuses on the overarching goal of enhancing our product by creating added value for academics, companies and our internal employees alike.

We use domain-driven design to handle the complexity of our software landscape.

Your profile

  • You consider yourself primarily a product developer and have many years of experience building digital products. 

  • You are motivated to be part of a new team and find out how to add the most value for our users.

  • You enjoy working in pragmatic and agile teams that have an iterative development approach.

  • You already have professional experience with Python.

  • Test-driven development is a standard for you.
